The Students Who Are Parents Support Group is for community college students attending York Technical College in Rock Hill, SC. The group was founded by the Phi Theta Kappa Alpha Alpha Iota chapter. PTK is an international honor society for two-year colleges that recognizes students for high achievement and devotes itself to service, leadership, and fellowship. PTK orchestrates community service projects each year, and this blog is part of the service project for 2016. We hope to continue the blog for many years to come because we believe that parents who are attending post-secondary classes need encouragement and compassion.
